At a young age of 14, I realised that the then-normal hobbies did not interest me. My interest steered more towards the beautiful machines we calls automobiles. There is almost nothing I wouldn’t know of, read about or liked about automobiles. Also, as we’re on the topic, Welcome to RevNation—my little corner of the internet where I talk (and occasionally rant) about the stuff I love. Mostly cars. Like, a lot of cars. You’ll catch on to that pretty quickly.

I am an automobile nut working as a Digital Marketer with a FinTech in Mumbai.

Growing my interest, love and knowledge about automobiles, somewhere along the ride, I also picked up a fascination for aviation—yep, I’m a bit of an AvGeek too. 

I have been fortunate enough to have worked in the Automobile industry in India for some while, in various roles and capacities. The best one so far? Being a Product Expert with Mercedes Benz India. The absolute perk of this particular job role was that I got trained not only to handle the product portfolio under the Mercedes Benz umbrella but also gained an entire set of knowledge of products from other car manufacturers in the market. When I’m not working or driving along beautiful roads, I’m probably nerding out on online car forums. Honestly, it’s an incredible way of consuming knowledge and learning new stuff related to this field. 

Learning about cars and bikes was what drove me (slight pun intended) from a very young age. My love for automobiles isn’t just a phase—it’s what revs my engine (pun totally intended). All I wanted as a kid was to get behind the wheel and keep driving for as long as I could. And I’m glad to report that not much has changed, even as a fully grown and functioning adult. These days, I find myself dreaming about engine specs and drivetrains, both asleep and awake. Another interesting nugget of realisation that I have had on this journey is that ‘to have Passion is beautiful. But to live it, is even more rewarding.’  

Having personally driven over 100+ cars in my lifetime and armed with my ever-growing knowledge with regards to all the things mentioned above, I take a keen interest in helping the general public, around me and online, with any queries they have pertaining to the topic. Now I know, I’m no Chris Harris or Mat Watson, but I do my best. An honest and unbiased opinion on automobiles is what you shall receive from me, should you need it. 

So yeah, I juggle marketing (remember when I mentioned I’m also a Digital Marketer?), life, and this never-ending car craze of mine—and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon : )
